Overview of the service

Viestia is a platform connecting activity organizers (sport, wellness, workshops, tours, food experiences, nature, and more) with participants wishing to book a spot on a proposed session.

Booking a spot on an activity does not involve any online payment through Viestia: any payment for the activity itself (if applicable) is arranged directly between the participant and the organizer, outside the platform.

Acceptance of these Terms

Accessing and using the site implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the service.

Account creation

Certain features (booking, activity management) require creating an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account.

Information provided at registration must be accurate and kept up to date.

Participant account

A participant account allows you to book a spot on sessions offered by organizers, view your bookings, and cancel them from your personal space, subject to the conditions set by the organizer (registration deadline, minimum and maximum number of participants).

Organizer account

Creating an organizer account is subject to review by the Viestia team before any activity can be published (status "pending", "approved", "rejected", or "suspended"). Viestia reserves the right to refuse or suspend any organizer account that does not comply with these Terms or that publishes non-compliant content.

The organizer is solely responsible for the content they publish (description, photos, practical information, pricing) and for properly running the activities offered. Managing activities beyond the free tier (number of activities, sessions, team members) requires the Pro subscription, whose commercial terms are detailed in the Terms of Sale.

Bookings and cancellations

A booking confirms a spot on a session, subject to availability and the conditions set by the organizer (registration deadline, minimum number of participants required to keep the session running). A participant may cancel their booking from their personal space.

If the minimum number of participants is not reached by the registration deadline, the organizer may need to reschedule or cancel the session; affected participants are notified and may respond to rescheduling proposals.

Viestia's role and liability

Viestia acts as a technical intermediary connecting organizers and participants. Viestia is not a party to the relationship between the organizer and the participant regarding the activity itself, and cannot be held liable for how it is run, for its cancellation by the organizer, or for any dispute between the parties.

Viestia strives to ensure the availability and proper functioning of the site, without guaranteeing the absence of interruptions or errors.

User obligations

Each user agrees to use the service in good faith, not to publish unlawful, misleading content or content infringing third-party rights, and to comply with these Terms and applicable regulations.

Suspension and termination

Viestia may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these Terms. Any user may request deletion of their account from their personal space, under the conditions described in the Privacy Policy (30-day grace period before permanent anonymization).

Personal data

The processing of users' personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, available in the site footer.

Changes to these Terms

Viestia reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any material change. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first, notably via the contact form. Failing that, the competent French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
